Georges Lakhovsky, Bioelectric
Pioneer Lakhovsky first experimented with plants and later confirmed his theory with animals and finally people. In 1924, he intentionally innoculated 10 potted germanium plants with a tumor-causing disease (Bacterium tumefaciens, a plant cancer). To one of the potted plants, he attached a single coil of heavy copper wire (ends not connected), holding it in place with a wooden stake stuck into the pot. The coil was about 30cm in diameter and was fashioned around the center of the plant, about 8 inches up from the soil. All of the plants had identical care and were exposed to the same lighting conditions. Over the next 60 days, the 9 innoculated germanium plants without the coil withered and died from their tumors. The single plant with the attached coil, threw off its tumors in about 30 days and continued to thrive and grow healthy. Why? According to Lakhovsky, the coil acted as an antenna and was able to
capture a portion of the frequency spectrum of cosmic waves that continually
bombard the earth. These captured cosmic radiations (of the correct frequency
range) were able to induce or reinforce favorable oscillations in plant
cells. All living cells (plants, or animals), in a healthy state, oscillate
at a characteristic frequency and maintain a condition that Lakhovsky
referred to as equilibrium. Pathogenic organisms (disease-causing bacteria,
virus, etc.) oscillate at a different frequency and if brought into close
proximity to those healthy cells, will adversely affect the frequency
of the oscillations of those cells and introduce a state of disequilibrium.
Lakhovsky essentially viewed it as a war taking place between the oscillatory
energies of the pathogenic microbes and the host cells. If the host cells
were sufficiently 'swamped' by the invading organisms' oscillations,
then the host cell would succumb to the mounting disequilibrium and die
off. |

If the resonant oscillations (the characteristic, healthy frequency) of the host cell could be stimulated or reinforced, then the host cell could overcome the disequilibrium and overpower the oscillations of the pathogenic organisms, thus defeating them. In Lakhovsky's plant experiment, the coil was able to capture cosmic radiations of a specific band of frequencies which was able to reinforce the healthy, characteristic resonant frequency of that germanium plant cell. Lakhovky later constructed a generator that could produce a wide spectrum of high frequency waves that could simulate the effects of captured cosmic radiations, but at much higher power levels. With his multi wave oscillator, Lakhovsky was able to stimulate diseased cells back into a healthy state much more quickly than depending on cosmic radiation alone. However, (and this is important), if coil antennas of the correct size are employed, cosmic radiation alone will stimulate the diseased cells back into a healthy state (in people or plants); it just takes longer. Lakhovsky believed that living cells are batteries; the nucleus
holds the positive charge and the cytoplasm carries the negative. If
cells were irradiated with a range of electromagnetic oscillations,
they could be "recharged" and thus rejuvenated. A range of
frequencies is necessary because the cell and its parts respond to
different frequencies

Lakhovsky's central
idea is this: Each ring of his special antenna system radiated at a different wavelength and frequency dependent upon its diameter. The different size rings would set up interference patterns between themselves, producing a plethora of harmonic frequencies at many different wavelengths. The patient would be then be exposed to a "Multi-Wave Oscillating Field". Each living cell in our bodies functions much like a tuned circuit with its DNA strand acting as a self inducting coil. Each living cell is capable of "resonating" to an external source of frequencies in the same manner as a guitar string beginning to vibrate when exposed to the standard pitch of the correct tuning fork. The idea of "Resonance" is the key to understanding the function of Lakhovsky's Multi-Wave Oscillator. The resonant frequency of cells and organs happens to be the natural frequency of health for that individual cell. Exposure to the MWO field induces an detoxification effect/ experience as the body attempts to shed itself of accumulated toxins. An example would be the case of a cigarette smoker starting to cough more as the lungs begin a process of self cleansing in response to repeated exposure to the MWO field. An additional effect occurs when there is a pure Etheric component of the Tesla Coil output independent of any frequencies. This Etheric or Radiant Energy component was noted by Nikola Tesla himself as being therapeutic and rejuvenating. For the special Ætheric or Radiant Energy effect to occur, the Tesla Coil must be tuned so that it becomes a series "impulse" device rather than an alternating current device.
What Lakhovsky discovered was simply mind boggling: He postulated
that all living cells (plants, people, bacteria, parasites, etc.) possess
attributes which normally are associated with electronic circuits.
These cellular attributes include resistance, capacitance, and inductance.
These 3 electrical properties, when properly configured, will cause
the recurrent generation or oscillation of high frequency sine waves
when sustained by a small, steady supply of outside energy of the right
frequency. This effect is known as resonance. It's easiest to compare
it with a child swinging on a playground swing. As long as the parent
pushes the swing a little at the right moment (the correct 'frequency'),
the child will continue to swing high and continuously. In electronics,
circuits which generate these recurrent sine waves can be called electromagnetic
resonators, but more commonly they are referred to as oscillators. |

As early as 1931, I began using this multiple wave oscillator in various Paris hospitals: the Saint Louis, Valde-Grace, Calvary, Necker, etc... Among the many cures with this treatment, I will mention especially those of various cases of cancer which X-ray and radium treatments failed to improve. These patients, cured six years ago, have had no recurrence and are in perfect health at this date. In all pathogenic cases this treatment gives very good results. As it does not attack the microbes directly, it does not destroy live tissue, but reinforces the vitality of the organism by accelerating cellular oscillation. It is therefore the reinforced organism that successfully resists the microbes and all pathogenic causes. So, while X-rays and radium destroy microbes, neoplasic cells and healthy tissue at the same time - which accounts for the serious accidents which occur during and after such treatments --high frequency radiations (short waves) applied at a distance and without thermal effect cure diseases of all kinds, even those of the prostate to a considerable degree. Whatever the pathogenic cause, the multiple wave oscillator reproduced the frequencies necessary to re-establish the cellular oscillatory equilibrium. In general, it is sufficient to seat the patient, or to have him stand
in the radius of the apparatus, before the transmitter. The duration
of the treatment is usually from five to ten minutes, every other day.
These figures are purely arbitrary, since these radiations reinforcing
cellular oscillation do not produce organic disturbances, whatever the
duration of the treatment ... |

What is frequency technology? Vibrations are the secret to bird migration, animal instinct and the reason insects avoid healthy crops but destroy weaker plants. With regards to health, the vibration of our cells slow down when they are subjected to disease-causing conditions. These conditions, of course, include faulty nutrition, environmental toxins and stressful or negative thoughts. These disease-causing conditions also provide a vibrational breeding ground for pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, fungi and molds. Royal Raymond Rife, one of the better-known pioneers of frequency therapy, put it eloquently when he said, "We also believe if the metabolism of the human body is perfectly balanced or poised, it is susceptible to no disease." A tall order in today’s world. Despite a successful trial showing Rife’s use of frequencies reversed cancer in 16 terminally ill patients in the 1930’s, his work was buried for several decades. A contemporary of Rife’s, Georges Lakhovsky is another researcher who pioneered the use of frequencies for health. Lakhovsky even enjoyed the cooperation of a hospital in the eastern US for his work. Lakhovsky wrote: "The amplitude of cell oscillations must reach a certain value, in order that the organism be strong enough to repulse the destructive vibrations from certain microbes. … For instance, let us suppose a cell vibrates at a certain frequency and a microbe vibrates at a different frequency; the microbe begins to fight the cell, and sickness is started." Lakhovsky based his work on giving the living cells the frequencies they needed to restore their healthy oscillations. The cell is then able to repel disease-producing microbes. In order for the cells to find their healthy oscillation or vibration, Lakhovsky built his Multiple Wave Oscillator. "The main thing," Lakhovsky reported, "is to produce the greatest number of harmonics possible." Other researchers have discovered the same thing. Theresa Dale, founder of a Naturopathic College says: "The healing vibrations occur because of the harmonic overtones. The harmonics carry the information, the healing frequency, into the body and thus the cell." Harmonic frequencies are created when specific frequencies meet to produce ever more frequencies. In the 1925 Georges Lakhovsky in France developed a coil for
the protection of trees; copper wire was stuck into the ground, turns
were made around the tree, and the loose end was pointed towards the
sky as an aerial. In 1928 he formed a variation of this that was geared
to improve the health of humans, which he called the ‘multi-wave
oscillator’, based on his then new theory that cells are microscopic
oscillating circuits. |

What HAS IT DONE FOR OTHERS? Multi-Wave Oscillator Use In A New York Hospital
Georges Lakhovsky crossed the Atlantic to New York City in 1941, there
to observe the effects of his MWO under controlled, technical conditions
in a New York Hospital. A brief report of the positive and beneficial
results of MWO treatments is appended to the English translation of his
book, “The Secret Of Life”, by Mark Clement, on page 201.
These treatments were given from July 1st to Aug. 21st and the name of
the hospital and of each patient are withheld for ethical reasons.

Case 1. G.D., Female, aged 25: Patient complained of pain in the chest and muscles of the right arm and back, and constant couch. She did not respond to medical treatment and massage. Treatment with Lakhovsky Multiple Wave Oscillator was instituted. After the fourth treatment coughing stopped, pain in the chest became infrequent, and the tired feeling in the back disappeared. At the end of 12 treatments the patient no longer complained of the previous symptoms. Case 2. M.M., Female, aged 51: Patient complained of pain and stiffness in the right hip. X-ray examination disclosed a marked narrowing of this articulation associated with large spurs at the margin of the acetablum which appeared to ankylose the joint. There were proliferative changes to the upper margin of the femoral head. Diathermy and massage failed to relieve the pain and stiffness. After 10 treatment with Lakhovsky’s M.W.O. the stiffness markedly reduced. Case 3. F.T,. female aged 38: For two months the patient complained of pain in both shoulders. Abduction of the right humers was limited to 45 degrees. A diagnosis of periarthritis was made and treatment with Lakhovsky’s M.W.O was started. After three treatments the patient said she felt much better. The improvement continued. After a series of 11 treatment the patient did not return. Apparently permanent relief had been obtained. Case 4. A.B., male, aged 60: Patient gave history of pain in both knees beginning in 1940. Diathermy and massage for one year gave only slight relief. Treatment with LAkhovsky “s M.W.O was instituted. After one treatment patient stated that he felt better. After four treatments patient felt so much better that he took only one treatment in two weeks. Case 5. M.M., female aged 42: Patient complained of pain in lower left back and hip. X-ray examination of lumbar spine and pelvis showed calcification at the anterior margins of the inter-vertebral discs between the ninth and tenth and the tenth and eleventh vertebrae. There was also a slight scoliosis of the lumbar spine. with LAkhovsky “s M.W.O was instituted . after the first treatment patient felt better. After the fifth treatment improvement was very marked. Patient did not return after nine treatments. Case 6. S.N., Female, aged 59: Patient complained of pain in the right shoulder and inability to extend the arm more the 5-10 degrees, accompanies by severe pain. X-ray examination disclosed irregular calcification in the region of the greater tuberosity of the right humerus. Treatment with lakhovsky’s M.W.O. was instituted. After one treatment patient said she felt much better. The improvement continued steadily until the 10 treatment we completed. Case 7. C.P., Female, Aged 38: Gynecological examination
showed uterus slightly enlarged and hard. Right para-metrium tender.
Diagnosis---Parametritis. Treatment with lakhovsky’s M.W.O was
instituted on July 17, 1941. After four treatments patient felt better,
and after 12 treatments patient was found to be much improved. Examination
on Oct. 7th showed the adnexa and parametrium to be painless. Patient
was considered cured. |

Report of Cases treated with Lakhovsky’s Multiple Wave Oscillator by a prominent Brooklyn Urologist
The following results were obtained by a prominent Brooklyn urologist
whose name must be omitted for ethical reasons. He is a fellow of the
American College of Surgeons and enjoys a great reputation as a skilled
specialist. He treated hundreds of patients with Lakhovsky’s MWO
but only a few typical cases can be given here.
In addition to the above cases this Brooklyn specialist treated six cases of enlarged prostate with nocturnal frequency (three to five times per night). After two treatments with Lakhovsky’s M.W.O. frequency was reduced “to only once a night or did not occur at all…..” The above American reports were not included in the first edition of George Lakhovsky’s “The Secret of Life”, published in 1935, but were added by the English translator, Mark Clement, to later editions. We are quoting from the 1963 edition published by Health Science Press, Sussex, England. Health Research, (P.O.Box 70 Mokelumne Hill, California 95245) offers this same book. This early (1941) research with the Lakhovsky equipment seems to have
been ignored by the American Medical Authorities, who are still concentrating
on cure by surgery or medicine. If you want to discover the effects of
weak radio waves on living organisms you’ll have to dig for yourself.

SAY RADIO TREATMENT IS EFFECTIVE AGAINST ARTHRITIS’
Apparently some doctors didn’t ignore the research work done by George Lakhovsky. Take this news item from the New York “Post” for Feb. 8, 1962, with an Associated Press dateline from Washington, D.C. “A device theoretically capable of bouncing radio signals off the moon has yielded highly effective results in the treatment of stubborn cases of arthritis and certain other ills, a group of doctors reported today. The machine generates high-frequency, short-wave-length radio waves and emits them as pulses lasting only 1/17,000th of a second each. The pulses currents are directed into a patient’s body, with a maximum achievable penetration of eight inches. “Use of the technique in treating arthritis, bone infection after
hip operations, inflammation of the female pelvis due to gonorrhea and
other conditions, and in speeding the healing of surgical wounds was
described in reports by Dr. Euclid M. Cameron of Baylor University; Dr.
Marshall Lobell of Harlem Hospital, N.Y.; and Dr.Solon N. Balckberg of
Chicago. The reports were made last night at a private conference to
which several Congressmen and Public Health Service doctors were invited.
Blackberg later told reporters the researchers would like to enlist government
support for expanded research by themselves and their investigators. PUBLIC RECOGNITION OF RADIOWAVE TREATMENT This sensational advance in the treatment of human ailments should
have been welcomed from coast to coast in every newspaper. Dr. Blackberg
and his distinguished fellow scientists from Baylor, Arkansas and Harlem
should have received public acclaim from President Kennedy’s Dept.
of Health and Welfare and from the American Medical Association. But
only a thunderous silence followed that early 1962 news item ion the
private meeting in Washington – until the Aug. 24, 1963 edition
of the Saturday Evening Post! In this national magazine, radiowave treatment
of arthritis was branded medical quackery in the article “Hucksters
of Pain”. There Drs. Smith, Street, Camern, Lobell and Blackberg
had their answer to “government support for expanded research”.
Fortunately, not every American is going to take this kind of libel without
striking back at the mouthpieces of the vested interests who lend themselves
