Terence McKenna,who merged into a greater consciousness in April of 2000, was
a radical botanist, researcher, explorer, and author who created a revolutionary
view of humankind's spiritual genesis. For 30 years, McKenna studied the ontological
foundations of shamanism and the ethno-pharmacology of spiritual transformation.
He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a distributed
major in ecology, resource conservation and shamanism. Terence wrote many books,
including Food of the Gods; True Hallucinations, and The Archaic Revival.
