What is "The Bio-Tuner"?
A unit similar to The Bio-Tuner (BT9) was featured in OMNI Magazine,
Volume 5, Number 4, January 1983. Article was written by Kathleen
McAuliffe. Title of the article is "The Black Box - Secret
... Treatment of Rock Superstars".

The Bio-Tuner is an electronic relaxation system. Micro-current
energy pulses appear to have a profound balancing effect on the

to date is a chapter by Ray B. Smith, Ph.D. in the book, Neural

The BT7 (bio tuner, formerly brain tuner) by Dr.
Bob Beck has been helping people relax for over 20 years. Bio Tuner
is an experimental, battery powered electronic instrument that

As a Cranial Electro Stimulation (CES) device, research on Beck’s

Electro-acupuncture? Electropharmacy?
The BT-7 Brain Tuner, by Dr. Bob Beck, the most well-known Cranial
Electric Stimulator (CES), produces over 500 frequencies that
can rapidly balance and restore the natural energies of your
body and mind. Some have called this technique "electro-acupuncture" because
it appears to have a similar ability to normalize brain chemistry.
Beck, a close friend of Meg Patterson,
was soon swept into an adventure of discovery. He studied

depression, sleep, stress, and learning, Beck learned about a "magic
frequency" that seemed to bring about profound positive changes

claimed to complement each other based on the principle

The University of Southern California preformed clinical

In a 1999 study, Thomas Budzynski, Ph.D worked with 8 struggling
college students. After undergoing audio-visual brainwave stimulation,
the students outperformed a control group and significantly increased

Psychologist Michael Joyce used brainwave entrainment with a group
